At SASIIT, our concern is not limited to academics alone. We focus on the overall development of our students as well as providing them a congenial and fun filled atmosphere, where professional and personal growth is a simultaneous process.

Clubs

The institute has four active clubs promoting professional activities amongst the students of the institute.
 

Cultural Functions

To inculcate "Espirit -de-corps" amongst SASIITians, periodic cultural functions are organized in the institute. While on one hand, freshers are welcome through breaking the ice with their senior colleagues with fun and frolic, on the other, the senior brethren bid adieu with emotional sendoffs. The annual day function is marked with various cultural activities including performances by celebrities of repute.

Sports Meet

The institute holds its Annual Sports Meet during the winter months (January/February). Seasonal games (Indoor & Out door) and their competitions at intra institute level are held through out the session. Institute is represented at university and other higher levels by respective teams.

Scholarships

To motivate students in different fields students excelling in academics, sports and games, cultural activities and other areas are recognized and honored with awards in cash/kind. Institute awards scholarships of Rs. 10,000/- to students securing 1st -10 position in entrance test (MET) and also to students securing more than 75% marks in qualifying examination - whose families income is less than Rs. 5000/- per month.

Students securing 1st and 2nd position in the semester examinations are given cash awards of Rs. 5000/- and 2000/- respectively. In addition to above some students of the institute have been granted fee waiver on academic excellence.

NSS Activities

Students of the institute voluntarily participate in various NSS activities either in organized teams or on individual basis. The activities include visit to old age homes and help the inmates, Blood donation, a forestation drive, promotion of communal harmony, child/women education, women empowerment, environmental protection and other social causes.
